Keeping my brain engaged.

Firstly I will tell you things have improved since my last post.  Bear and I have talked, he has revisited his specialist, which has solved part of the problem causing his depression.  Men why don't they communicate, if it was the other way around I would be in so much trouble.

During the week Bear called me into the lounge room for what he said was a cuddle.  It was a beautiful warm winters day, so I had all the doors and windows open to air the house off. On my way past Frankie I accidently stood on his paw and without thinking said "Oh shit, sorry didn't mean to do that."

Instead of a cuddle on arrival in the lounge Bear said come over here.  He pulled me down over his knee and spanked me really hard.  One of his favourite sayings is "What would your mother say."  if I do something.  Our couch is L shaped and where he sat was right near the open front door.  I was shocked saying not with the door open what if someone comes.  Bear replied stick your head around the corner, say you won't be long as you're just having your bottom spanked for swearing. We both ended up giggling even though I had a roasted bottom.  What I said on PKs post about turning up the heat down under being a double meaning,  has come true.

Second, luckily I had my brain engaged today,  Bear has decided its time to try the church down here. After the service today whilst having a cup of tea, one parishioner introduced herself to us.  She told us she is leaving on a months trip to Colorado to visit her twin sister during the week, so won't see us until she returns.  The mention of Colorado had my mind on Corbin's Bend, I might have glazed over thinking of the books.  LOL!

Advice to self....Stay focused Lindy and not daydreaming about spanking books whilst in church.

Have a good week everyone, hope you are all well and receiving plenty of fun spankings.

Hugs Lindy

  1. Lindy, I'm so glad things are looking up for you. I get into trouble for using unladylike language too, not that I use it often. Happy that it ended well for you - on your end!

  4. While I am glad that Bear is feeling more himself, the thought of being spanked for bad language would put the fear of god in my heart. I am just terrible.

Don't know why men are so reluctant to go see the doctor. It does drive me batty, too.

I know what you mean by thinking of spanking books in church. I do that in staff meetings when I should probably be paying attention!

    1. Thanks Ella. Our eldest daughter has a potty mouth so think Bear was just making sure I behaved and wanted an excuse to spank. LOL!

  5. Lindy, I am glad Mr Bear is feeling better. I think everyone is over this cold and rainy winter.

Men don't go to see the doctor because we view them as glorified motor mechanics...only to be see when there is something seriously wrong. Because most ailments are seen as trivial we tend not to worry about little things like high blood pressure, high blood sugars, depression and the like.

We also tend to die much younger than women!!!!!

  7. I'm really glad things are going in this direction - sounds like it could pick everyone up!

I agree you should not think about spanking books during church - but evidently Cassie goes to service at a different time from me because she often choose this time to talk to me and she's hard to ignore.

  9. Hi Lindy, so glad things are looking up and that Bear has been back to the specialist and is feeling better.

Oh goodness, it's a good thing I don't get spanked for language! I'm always paranoid about windows and doors being open.

  11. Oh my! If I were spanked for my language 😱 I'd never sit... I mean most of it is muttered as I have kids listening ALL THE TIME... But yikes 😂 Glad hubby hasn't thought of that one...

And as for thinking of spanking books during church! Oh the struggle is real 😂 I have to keep telling myself to focus some days 😂

  12. I've been spanked a few times for swearing Leigh, even after repeating a word Bear had just said. Talk about double standards.

You made me laugh with telling yourself to focus some days. Priceless.
