Would you rather read on an e-reader or an actual book?
I used to enjoy reading actual books. Now I prefer reading them on the kindle app on my laptop. I also have a kobo but find the writing too small.

Have a good week everyone. Tomorrow is 29th January, do you all doing anything for this once in four years special day? We obviously won't be able to with Bear. Unless he makes a quick recovery.
Hugs Lindy
Hi Lindy, I have no idea what a bugaboo is either. I think Sunny made it up to impress us! Hope Bear is better soon
ReplyDeletelove Jan,xx
Hi Jan, We will have to bug Sunny to get the answer out of her. LOL! Made an appointment for Bear to go to the doctors Wednesday. Hopefully we will get some answers as he keeps getting similar symptoms all the time lately.

Enjoyed reading this. Might try it out myself. The Galaxy Edge is very tempting... I also spotted a familiar cover. I hope you enjoyed the book :)

DF
Hi DF, Definitely enjoyed the book and wrote a comment on amazon for you. Look forward to your next book.
DeleteHugs Lindy
Sorry to hear Bear is poorly, hope he gets better soon. I think bugaboo means something that irritates you, possibly from the word bugbear.
ReplyDeleteI read books by our Blogland writers on an app too - keeps my reading matter from prying eyes!
Rosie xx
Hi Rosie, Good idea reading our books on apps. My daughter saw some of my books before I started using apps. She thought it was terrible her mum reading DIRTY books.

Hope Bear is up and about again soon. I enjoy reading these...they highlight how much we all have in common.
ReplyDeletehugs abby
Hi Abby, Thanks. I also love reading everyone's meme answers. Good to compare them all.
DeleteHugs Lindy
Glad you've done this meme. Hope Bear is up and about soon. I used to have a Kobo, can you not increase the size or font. Of course, the bigger you make it the more you have to flip pages.
ReplyDeleteHi Sunny thanks for this meme, it was fun. I always enjoy doing memes. will look into increasing the size of the font on my kobo. Have all my good books downloaded onto the laptop at the moment though. Maybe next time I buy a book.

Hi Lindy, I hope Bear gets well soon. I know that being unwell in summer is a complete no-no and no fun at all.
ReplyDeleteI used to have a Kobo and used it constantly until it was lost in the highlands of New Guinea (long story) and replaced it with a Sony tablet which is brilliant...except that the battery only lasts a few hours which is a pain when I want to snuggle down for a marithon reading session.
Hi Don, thanks for visiting, hope you are feeling a bit of improvement with your back/neck. Definitely not good being sick in summer. At least its the first day of Autumn tomorrow. We have luckily missed most of the extremely hot weather in our little town.
DeleteOh dear not good loosing your kobo whilst travelling.
Keep checking for an email from you.
Hugs Lindy
Thanks for sharing your answers, Lindy. Even though I have a kindle and kindle app on my computer, I still prefer a book in my hand. ;) Sending lots of prayers and healing energy for Bear.
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings...Cat
Thanks Cat for the healing prayers and energy for Bear. I have made a doctors appointment for him as he has been sick on and off for too long now.

Hope Bear feels better soon!
ReplyDeleteI read Jayes book too! It's fun to do these Memes and see what everyone shares!
Thanks Minelle, Jaye's book was great as always. Memes are fun to do and also read others comments to compare.

I surely did giggle when you were confused about the word "bugaboo." Something that really irritates you is the best I can do to explain.
ReplyDeleteExample - Not putting the seat back down on the toilet is a real bugaboo at our house!
I do love Jaye's period books! His Lordship was a particular favorite.
Sending Hugs Downunder,
Ella
Hi Ella, Glad I made you giggle with the bugaboo. Think here a bugaboo is a babies pram/pusher. So a bit confusing. I understand it now though. LOL!
DeleteHugs Lindy
Hi Lindy, :) I enjoyed reading your answers here! :) I got a giggle out of the "bugaboo" thing too. And noticed above that Sunny did not explain. LOL! Ella did I nice job above- that is what I am kind of thinking too. Her example made me LOL too- about the toilet seats needing to be put down. We would call that a pet peeve, and I bet that they are similar. (I don't like that either, Ella! Haha!)
ReplyDeleteLindy, I hope that Bear feels better very soon, and that you are enjoying this 29th day of Feb! Many hugs,
<3 Katie
Thanks Katie, Its already 1st March here now, how time goes so fast, start of Autumn which is my favourite season. YAY! Love those nice crisp mornings. Bear is slowly improving and getting his appetite back which is a good sign.
