I am at present in a cell dressed in a paper coverall, having undergone a strip search. Apparently they didn't appreciate the three boxes of crackers, and two boxes of party poppers I had concealed in my suitcase.
I explained I had only flown in to help a friend celebrate her big O birthday, but to no avail. I may need the party to come and rescue me.

Happy Birthday - I'll be there, I'm just running a bit late, I got detained at Homeland Security. They had all kinds of questions about some of the items in my luggage. I'm not sure I'll get them back to get to you or not.

DeleteOMG - This is truly an intercontinental party. Lindy, Happy Birthday! I am so excited to be invited to your downunder birthday bash. Have never been to Australia before, and the flight in was breathtaking! It was a very long flight, but I loved the last bit passing over the Outback and the Great Barrier Reef.
ReplyDeleteThere was so much to pack. Presents and recipes and party clothes (and new shoes). First, Sam has been busy out in his shop again lately. Long ago he created “Mr. Paddle” as our first implement. It has been rigorously field tested. and Sam often asks if I would like to “talk” to him or “talk” to Mr. Paddle. And now Mr. Paddle has been busy procreating a whole slew of Sons of Paddle. So your first gift is a 100% Made in the USA paddle. If there is any truth in that old saying, “Like father, like son,” be very careful of bossiness.
Since you are such a sweet blogland lady, I have also brought you a huge box of Ghirardelli chocolate from the States. Since this is another virtual gift, eat as much as your birthday-heart desires. No calories whatsoever!
And speaking of food, I have brought fresh green chile from the Southwest to make a batch of “Sausage Biscuit” appetizers. As far as Ella is concerned, sampling some various Australian beers is at the top of the list, especially for toasting the B-day girl.

I managed to pack everything (except a few things) into hand luggage so I could get through security quicker and not have to wait for my luggage and still I'm late arriving.
Is that my favourite music (and Bears) I can her playing in the background - yes I believe it is. Great.

The flogger is a lovely soft suede, to be used as in that 50 shades scene... gosh, is it hot in here or is it just me? (Fanning self). The second thing is something I saw on the Internet - a spanking skirt! It's a tight, stretchy skirt with a cut out at the back where the bum goes. It must be for fun because the thighs are covered up. I'm starving now, has Bear got the barbie going? Oh, just saw Jan, must have a chat with her.

wow I finally made it to my own party. You have no idea all the things that have happened over since yesterday. I was slipping out to buy a special outfit for my party, then my googlemobile broke down, so I rang road side assist. They sent me a kangaroo of all things as a replacement ride. The police pulled me over for a breath test and a strip search thinking I was a crazy old woman. Pffft! Finally made it back without a suitable outfit, so I'm wearing my birthday suit. Sorry about all the wrinkles, I told Bear I need to do something about them. His gave me a hard swat saying I'm not allowed to talk negatively about myself.

Jan it was so muc fun. Don't think I've had such a great party in my whole life and that's a long long time. We'll have to do it all again at the next persons birthday. Have a safe trip back. Hope John is ready for a bit of spanking action on your return.
