So last night Frankie took himself off to bed after cracking the poops with me. We take him into the lounge room with us at night whilst we watch tv. Some nights he settles down straight away on his blanket others it takes a while. Last night he kept trying to bite me all the time, I tried distracting him and talking to him, so finally told him he was grounded Then put him the other side of the baby gate we have dividing the kitchen from lounge.
Bear and I were relaxing watching tv when I got one of those annoying tickles in my throat causing me to cough.
Bear gave me THE LOOK!
I said as a joke....."Spank me then, haha!"
To which he replied he would if I coughed again as he owed me my birthday spank anyway. Wasn't long until I coughed again, he put his laptop on the table and motioned for me to get in position over his knee.
At times Bear pretends to play the drums on my behind with different rhythms, some hard, some soft. He started drumming away which felt so, sooooo good, I was relaxing into it when he increased the tempo with harder spanks. Neither of us kept count, I'm sure he gave me way more than what I would have received for my many, many years. It was sending me to my happy place and Bear was also enjoying the moment when Frankie woke up from the noise barking his head off.
Pity as I'm sure it would have lead to nicer activities, unfortunately it was cut short. Boohoo!
How do the rest of you manage with animals in the house?
PK I've been watching the dog whisperer, its really helpful, thanks for putting me onto it. We tried to enroll Frankie into puppy school, by the time they have a vacancy in July, he'll be too old. So guess we'll be watching more of the dog whisperer to train him ourselves.
Enjoy the rest of your week everyone and have a nice relaxing weekend. PK hope your foot isn't giving you any trouble.

Hi Lindy, ugh, sorry your birthday spanking was interrupted. We have two cats who can be a pain at times coming up onto the bed at night for cuddles when we have other things on our mind lol. When it comes to spanking though, they usually read the signs beforehand and bolt lol

Roz
Hopefully Frankie will learn the signs quickly too Roz. Never thought of this side of owning a puppy.

Since you got interrupted, maybe you should have a redo...no advice here on the pet interruption...
ReplyDeletehugs abby
What a wonderful idea on having a redo Abby, will tell Bear that see what he thinks.

If it is a spanking for play, we usually put our 2 dogs in another room with a rawhide chew. If the spanking is for real, they clear out quick. They seem to know when Sam means business.
ReplyDeleteSending Hugs Downunder,
Ella
Thanks for the advice Ella, will try rawhide chews with Frankie.

We have three cats. One runs at the first spank, the other two seem to like to watch. It's disturbing at times. I'd still suggest signing up for a class as soon as you can - puppy or older dog. Like Cesar says you are the one who needs training and the classes really help you know what to do. It can help at any age. We had a Golden for 12 years and the training really helped.
ReplyDeleteFunny two of your cats like to watch PK. Maybe they're learning a few tricks. LOL! Will definitely look into training, thanks PK.

Hi Lindy, Oh I am quite glad we have no pets here now! Our old cat used to watch, he was quite the voyeur, lol
ReplyDeletelove Jan, xx
You made me laugh Jan, at your voyeur cat. Strange how cats seem to enjoy watching everything.

Hi Lindy, I only have guinea pigs and they are really no trouble. But what's funny is when Sir spanks me they purr!
ReplyDeleteWow I didn't realise guinea pigs purred. Would be funny to hear them whilst you're being spanked Daisy.

Puppies are so cute but they can be such a pain sometimes. I'll take the joy part though - they give so much love.
ReplyDeleteWe haven't had a dog since we embarked on this journey, but our cats paid no attention. Now our Sunny Girl would have had something to say, for sure.
Glad to hear you cats pay no attention when you are spanked Sunny. Wonder what your Sunny Girl would have said and done.

glad you found your happy place :-) Our fish are not very interactive :-) Hugs
ReplyDeleteMMM fish are a bit like that I guess. Lucky in one way though.

Lindy, sorry your spanking was interrupted. Glad we don't have any pets now. When we had German Shepherd we used to have to lock her in another room because she would start barking at us and try to stop P.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Ronnie

Funny how our fur babies try to protect us, Ronnie. Bear thought Frankie would try to stop him if he could come inside.

Hi Lindy, Our 2 dogs get very jelous that I am spending time with Mumski and the cats crawl everywhere. So they all get chased out and the door firmly closed. Much grumpyness from the other side of the door when spankings etc. are happening but once they are out they are easy to ignore.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your birthday spanking
I suppose we should have gone into the bedroom but the moment over took us. I was beginning to think there wasn't going to be a birthday spanking, thanks Don.

Cesar Millan ... oh dear ... he uses such outdated and sometimes downright harmful training methods. I'll offer up other suggestions for you ... Zak George and Kikopup (on YouTube ... just do a search and you should find them no problem). Obviously, the choice is yours, but I cringe anytime I hear someone talking about "the dog whisperer."
ReplyDeleteAnyway ... I'm with the others who suggested a redo! ;)
Thanks for the suggestions Lilli, I appreciate all the help. Yes might have to ask for a redo. Wonder if Bear will take notice of me though.

Hi Lindy,
ReplyDeleteWe don't have any pets now, so no advice here. Shame your birthday spanking got interrupted, definitely try for a redo.
Rosie xx
Thanks Rosie, looks like everyone is voting for a redo. Will have to bring it up with Bear.
