So this marks the beginning of Lent which is when you usually give something up until Easter.
This year I'm daring you all to take a challenge during Lent. Bear and I came up with an idea of a spanking a day until Easter using a different implement each day. Bear told me he's going to give me six of the best each day.
Who is up for the challenge? It will run from 1st March until 14th April which is Good Friday, forty five days.
Have a good weekend everyone.
Hugs Lindy and Bear xx
Lindy...I was with you on the pancakes until you added teh ice cream. Ice cream just does not belong on pancakes. A spanking a day for 45 days with different implements...more power to ya. Hmmm...so will you get two spankings if you get cheeky? ;)
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings...Cat
Oh I hadn't thought of that one Cat. Most likely a double serve of spanks if I do anything during that time BUT I'm an angel. LOL! wink wink

Hi Lindy, it's lemon and sugar over here. I think my hubby will be up for the challenge1 It's going to be a fun time!
ReplyDeletelove Jan, xx
Hi Jan, I used to have lemon and sugar growing up until I discovered maple syrup. Never going back to lemon now.
DeleteYay so happy you and John are joining us. Enjoy lent with a daily spank.
Hugs Lindy xx
Not a big pancake fan, but when I do have them...usually with the grands, strawberries and whipped cream...with maple syrup also. Love you challenge ...we are going to have to play catch up since I am at my daughter's this week, while she travels for work.

Enjoy your time with the Grands Abby.

Pssst...Lindy, Lent doesn't include Sundays, so for those who are concerned about MORE than 40 days, not to worry. Of course you might not think this is a big deal, until you start receiving spankings every day! LOL
ReplyDeleteGood luck.
Thanks Willie. Phew 5 days less but guess after that many days another 5 wouldn't be noticed. LOL!

I am not a maple syrup fan - just lots of butter. Sam eats them with peanut butter! Yuck!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your challenge, Lindy Lou! We do have some new toys, too, but 45 days seems like a long time. If you are able to still sit at your computer, tell us how it is going!
Sending Hugs Downunder,
Ella
Wow haven't been called Lindy Lou in years, love it, thanks Ella.
DeletePeanut butter on pancakes, now that is just too weird. As long as Sam enjoys them.

I do love banana pancakes with butter and warm maple syrup! Yum my mouth is watering!
ReplyDeleteSince my guy won't be here I can't participate.... until he comes home--3 plus weeks so far! We'll see when he returns if he wants to try this!
Banana pancakes sounds delish Minelle. Hope your Scotsman is home before you know it.

ReplyDeleteGood luck with the challenge. Look forward to reading about it.
Love,

Sorry about deleted commentx
Thanks Ronnie. the challenge will be interesting. Bear is getting his spanking hand warmed up with a few trial shots.

That sounds like fun, but as Ron is an atheist, he doesn't believe in Lent.
ReplyDeleteI make Swedish pancakes with oatmeal and dried blueberries in them, so they are very healthy. We have them with butter and maple syrup.
Hugs,
Hermione
Swedish pancakes sounds delicious Hermione. Just do it for fun, you don't have to be a Christian to do the challenge.

I'd take one day never mind 40. Lucky you.
ReplyDeleteVery thin -almost crepe like with butter and Carey's syrup
Oh crepes would be nice. Haven't heard of Carey's syrup will have to google it. Tell Ray about the challenge, he might be up for it.
DeleteHugs Lindy xx
YUM on the pancakes, Lindy! :) I love them crepe-like or regular, in a stack! A tiny bit of butter and some real maple syrup will do just fine! I have not had breakfast yet- may need to change my thinking here... :)
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like quite the fun challenge, that you and Bear are going for! I will look forward to hearing all about it! Very fun! Many hugs,
<3 Katie
Katie good to hear from you. MMMM now I want some crepes. Must try them next time, which will be next year. I only have them once a year.
DeleteThe challenge is off to a flying start will Bear in full swings. ;)
