LENT

February 28th  is Shrove Tuesday (Pancake Day).  Yay  I always look forward to this day and especially this year as my Bear is going to make me some gluten free pancakes.   How do you like to eat your pancakes?  I enjoy mine with maple syrup, blueberries and ice cream.

So  this marks the beginning of Lent which is when you usually give something up until Easter.

This year I'm daring you all to take a challenge during Lent.  Bear and I came up with an idea  of a spanking a day until Easter using a different implement each day.  Bear told me he's going to give me six of the best each day.

Now some implements I really enjoy like his soft leather belt and always would love him to go on longer.  Others are going to be a struggle to even take six as they are so OUCHIE!  We've had some new implements come into our household lately, they will be interesting.

Who is up for the challenge?  It will run from 1st March until 14th April which is Good Friday,  forty five days.

Have a good weekend everyone.

Hugs Lindy and Bear xx

  1. Lindy...I was with you on the pancakes until you added teh ice cream. Ice cream just does not belong on pancakes. A spanking a day for 45 days with different implements...more power to ya. Hmmm...so will you get two spankings if you get cheeky? ;)

    1. Hi Jan, I used to have lemon and sugar growing up until I discovered maple syrup. Never going back to lemon now.
Yay so happy you and John are joining us. Enjoy lent with a daily spank.

  3. Not a big pancake fan, but when I do have them...usually with the grands, strawberries and whipped cream...with maple syrup also. Love you challenge ...we are going to have to play catch up since I am at my daughter's this week, while she travels for work.

  4. Pssst...Lindy, Lent doesn't include Sundays, so for those who are concerned about MORE than 40 days, not to worry. Of course you might not think this is a big deal, until you start receiving spankings every day! LOL

    Good luck.

    1. Thanks Willie. Phew 5 days less but guess after that many days another 5 wouldn't be noticed. LOL!

  5. I am not a maple syrup fan - just lots of butter. Sam eats them with peanut butter! Yuck!

Good luck with your challenge, Lindy Lou! We do have some new toys, too, but 45 days seems like a long time. If you are able to still sit at your computer, tell us how it is going!

    Sending Hugs Downunder,

    1. Wow haven't been called Lindy Lou in years, love it, thanks Ella.
Peanut butter on pancakes, now that is just too weird. As long as Sam enjoys them.

  10. That sounds like fun, but as Ron is an atheist, he doesn't believe in Lent.

I make Swedish pancakes with oatmeal and dried blueberries in them, so they are very healthy. We have them with butter and maple syrup.

  12. YUM on the pancakes, Lindy! :) I love them crepe-like or regular, in a stack! A tiny bit of butter and some real maple syrup will do just fine! I have not had breakfast yet- may need to change my thinking here... :)

That sounds like quite the fun challenge, that you and Bear are going for! I will look forward to hearing all about it! Very fun! Many hugs,
