Baker's question

Baker asks the following questions.......

What is your favorite ttwd related book that you've read or are reading? If you could only choose one implement for Bear to ever use again, what would it be and why?--not his hand, has to be an implement.

I've read so many books involving ttwd its hard to choose a favourite.  The one I've mostly enjoyed  that comes to mind is the Corbin's Bend series.  As I love how many authors have contributed to writing this compilation.  The story is continual with new families moving into the Bend and incorporating the older residents.  If it were at all possible it would be wonderful to live in a community of like minded people where our life style is accepted.

Since having to rest over the past few weeks I've been reading heaps.  I really like to be drawn into the book as if they are my friends, which happens with our blogger author books.  There was one recently though that scared the daylights out of me.  I was reading away, reached a certain part and my stomach was churning.  I immediately  shot an email off to our lovely Jan as she told me she had read this book. Jan assured me there was a happily ever after, so I continued reading.  It definitely wasn't my cup of tea.  I had nightmares that night after finishing it. Yes, yes I know Lindy is such a baby.  So from now on I'm sticking to my well known authors who write nice happily ever afters.

Your second question was also part of Ronnie's.  My favourite implement beside Bears hand is his lovely soft belt which leaves a lovely sting without welts.  He only uses his harder belt if he thinks I've been naughty,  so  seeing most of our spankings are the fun variety he uses his softer belt.

Baker thank you for asking your questions, hope this answers to your satisfaction.

Hugs Lindy xx

    1. I second that, now who is a builder amongst us to start this project. Somewhere close to the mountains and a beach. No I'm not greedy! LOL! We could be neighbours Jan instead of emailing each other all the time, we could pop in for a cuppa. Bliss!

    1. Hi Ronnie,

You should read the Corbin's Bend books they're fabulous.
You're so brave preferring the cane. We don't own a cane and I don't think I would enjoy it at all. Much prefer leather.

  4. Hi, Lindy,
I have not read that series either. I'll have to give it a go soon though. And you are not a baby, I do not like reading anything that is scary or has any angst in it at all.

My man does not use a belt, but we do have a light weight leather strap that is truly delicious.

I do hope you are feeling better! Thank you so much for answering my questions.

will take a while to fully recover, thank you.

  6. Hi Lindy, :) I sure do hope that you are getting good rest, and feeling better every day!

Now I have to read the Corbin's Bend books! I think that it was Jan who told me about them once. I have one, but never got to it. The other book that you read sounded scary. I'm with you- not good with creepy books.

Leather is... yummy!!! We don't use it as much as I would like to around here. Rob seems to be married to his spatula and the cheeseboard. HA! I'll have to mention that to him. Nice reading your answers here. Feel good! Many hugs,

  8. Thanks for sharing your answers, Lindy...I am definitely going to have to read the Corbin's Bend series. Love the concept...would love to live in a town where ttwd was just the way of life. Have to find a good chunk of land first, then incorporate it into a town and then start building. ;)

    Hugs and blessings...Cat
