LOVE OUR LURKERS DAY 2

Still waiting for all my silent readers to come out and play. I saw a fabulous idea on The Continued Journey asking for everyone to say what part of the world you come from. You don't need to say your actual address, just a rough locality. I know most of my blogger friends are from the USA, a few from Canada, a  bunch from England and one from New Zealand. Where are you from?

I'm from Victoria, Australia and would really love to hear from other Aussies. You never know we might be neighbours or live close enough to meet for a chat over a cup of tea.

So come on time to fess up that you have been lurking, I'm not going to judge you by your beliefs. Drop me a comment about anything, or just say G'day mate!

LOVE OUR LURKERS DAYS 13

Welcome!  Whether you are a regular reader, leaving comments on my posts or an occasional visitor, thank you for dropping by.

I was a lurker many years ago, too shy to  visit regularly, never dreamt about leaving a comment.

Then one year I  hopped around visiting everyone's posts on LOL day, leaving comments here and there. Still didn't feel comfortable though as I thought no one would want to hear from me.  A few actually said to me I should start my own blog to which I replied Bear would never let me. Yet here we are down the road, I've  joined the team. They are all a fabulous bunch of like minded people, everyone is so nice, giving great advice if you need it, encouraging you with kind words when you are down.

Through blogging I have made so many lovely friends, we also communicate via email or face book.
Just wish the world was smaller so we could visit each other, would be so nice to chat over a cup of tea and cake.

So if you too are shy just remember we were all in your shoes at one stage. Today is your chance to say HELLO to us all. We will make you very welcome and hope you will also find the courage to join us with your own blog one day. No one is going to judge you by your beliefs or the way you and your partner practice TTWD/DD or what ever name you call yours. There are no rules to this way of living, we all do it our own way.

Please do leave a comment or ask me a question if you like. I'll try my best to answer it. If you prefer to make contact via email rather than here, let me know we can soon arrange that. what are you waiting for, there is nothing to lose and you never know you might make a bunch of friends if you step out of the shadows. You can remain anonymous, use a pseudonym or whatever you feel comfortable doing.

If you have read this far, thank you once again for visiting. Hermione has  added a list of participants  so you can go blog hopping. I tried to copy and paste to the bottom here but it didn't work.

FFF #42

Oh dear this week has been a huge fail for me which I thought it would with all the functions I have attended. Things have gone down, Down, DOWN.  No exercising what.... so.... ever...….oh except for heaps of walking, well that's exercise right!

Heaps of functions equals heaps of food.  One in particular was a cooking demonstration where we were divided into groups to actually do the cooking. This was so much fun as I learnt a few new things. after this we all sampled everyone's cooking. YUM!

So all in all my FFF this week is fail fail fail!

Reposting to see if this shows up as a few friends have told me it didn't.

FFF #41

As Willy said  last week  with reading everyone's FFF reports it makes the time go by so fast and I have to agree totally.  We have a few routines in our house which we stick to like washing the towels on Thursday nights. (Yes I know boring)  My point is I turned to Bear this Thursday night and said I can't believe its towel night again, only feels like we did them.  Even our 16 year old granddaughter is saying time is flying, so its not just us oldies.

This week I only managed one water exercise due to it being a public holiday on the other one. I did manage to fit heaps of steps in though walking around the markets and going to the street parade. Also I made up for the day off the water exercises by fitting in an extra bike ride. So 6/7 days on the bike.  I am feeling so much better with  including riding again, as my legs have regained the strength I lost when I wasn't allowed to exercise.

As far as sticking to a healthy eating plan this week, its out the window. Bear stayed home whilst I went to the market, so I bought him a surprise of a bucket of honey.

Then as I was leaving I noticed a caravan selling fairy floss. Oh my goodness, I am a big kid at heart,  so  can never go past anywhere they sell fairy floss. As Bear said when I showed him my bucket its a fair compromise. LOL!

Wednesday I went out with my photography group to celebrate a friends special -0 birthday.  We met in a nice café for lunch which was really delicious, then went to our botanical gardens for a walk to take photos.  The downfall was, after this we went to another café to have afternoon tea. Oops! I had the best lemon meringue pie I have had in ages. Yum!

So two failures this week with my fairy floss and cake. This coming week I also have a few functions to attend, so not holding my breath on eating healthy again. Never mind a slip up every now and again is alright in my books.

Hope everyone else did well on their FFF for the week. See you again next week for both FFF and LOL days.

Have a good weekend.

FFF #40

For all those who have stuck with FFF for the past 40 weeks, CONGRATULATIONS! You must all be feeling so much better in yourselves.

This week has gone so fast, I feel like I blinked and its Friday again. I managed to do my bike ride 5/7 days.

Only made it to water exercises for half  a session though, as I had to leave the one session early as something felt off.

Decluttered in the garage this week as we are waiting on the delivery of a new car shortly.

That's a good incentive for us both to organise the garage so it fits in, as its bigger than our current car.

I have managed to not let one crumb of cake pass my lips. YAY!  How did you go Fondles and Roz, hope you both avoided the temptation to eat chips and sweets. On Sunday Bear did make me a treat of raspberry and white chocolate scones.

I only had one. LOL!

We have had heaps of visitors of the four pawed fur variety in our garden and around our area this week. This little girl was in our back tree.
So we had to bring the dogs inside so she could escape.
Then her mate visited the front tree looking for her.

Whilst out shopping today Bear spotted a Mumma and baby crossing the road.
We pulled over quickly, out with the cameras and took heaps of photos.

This weekend is a long, long one here. Its Melbourne Cup Day Tuesday and most people seem to take Monday off as well.

Also its Upwelling Festival weekend, so we have a street parade, carnival and market happening on the foreshore. Just hope the weather is nice, as today has been so windy we almost got blown away.

Fingers crossed I'm not tempted with any cake during these celebrations. Hope everyone else has had a wonderful week. Enjoy your weekend!
