FFF #40

For all those who have stuck with FFF for the past 40 weeks, CONGRATULATIONS! You must all be feeling so much better in yourselves.

This week has gone so fast, I feel like I blinked and its Friday again. I managed to do my bike ride 5/7 days.

Only made it to water exercises for half  a session though, as I had to leave the one session early as something felt off.

Decluttered in the garage this week as we are waiting on the delivery of a new car shortly.

That's a good incentive for us both to organise the garage so it fits in, as its bigger than our current car.

I have managed to not let one crumb of cake pass my lips. YAY!  How did you go Fondles and Roz, hope you both avoided the temptation to eat chips and sweets. On Sunday Bear did make me a treat of raspberry and white chocolate scones.

I only had one. LOL!

We have had heaps of visitors of the four pawed fur variety in our garden and around our area this week. This little girl was in our back tree.
So we had to bring the dogs inside so she could escape.
Then her mate visited the front tree looking for her.

Whilst out shopping today Bear spotted a Mumma and baby crossing the road.
We pulled over quickly, out with the cameras and took heaps of photos.

This weekend is a long, long one here. Its Melbourne Cup Day Tuesday and most people seem to take Monday off as well.

Also its Upwelling Festival weekend, so we have a street parade, carnival and market happening on the foreshore. Just hope the weather is nice, as today has been so windy we almost got blown away.

Fingers crossed I'm not tempted with any cake during these celebrations. Hope everyone else has had a wonderful week. Enjoy your weekend!

  1. Wonderful week, Lindy. You sound happy and proud of yourself, as you should be. It was Halloween here this week, and Sam was in charge of the candy. I did have 2 little bite size chocolate candies, and that was all. Managed to bring my weight back to pre-vacation levels, too. Plan to weigh in at Weight Watchers tomorrow morning.

Just love the pictures of your furry friends! They would be something I would love to see if I ever make it down under.

Love Having You Back in Blogland,
    Ella

    1. Well done Ella on your self control with the chocolates. We don't celebrate Halloween here, but I did have a bag of lollipops ready for any children who might visit. We didn't get any, so our grands with score a whole bag full. Good luck with your weigh in, wonderful you have your weight back to pre vacation. You go girl!

You'll have to plan you trip down under for this time of the year when our furry friends are wandering around. Its so cool to see them walking down our streets.

    1. Thank you Don. Of the noises at night are terrible from the koalas. I feel sorry for the poor girl the way the male is so brutal with her. I just want to rescue her. LOL!
Are you having a flutter on the cup? Bears favourites were tim tams He'd eat a whole packet at a time, then one day gave up cold turkey.

  6. Hi Lindy! It looks like you're back on the FFF train with a vengeance!

I'm happy to say that I did succumb to some chips but i managed to keep to the half-bag limit, and it was only that one day.

I'm actually down a kilo since a week ago so I'm feeling really good about things!

  7. Hi Lindy! :) Sounds like you’ve done a super job this week! You sure have practiced self control! Bear’s scones look delicious!! Yumm!!

We only had four trick-or-treaters, and there is a ton of candy left! I keep reaching into the bowl. Time to find a new home for all those sweets!!

Thank you for sharing the koala pics. I too would love to see them one day! So cool!! Keep up the great work! Enjoy your weekend events! Many hugs,

    ❤️Katie xoxo

  8. Gosh one downfall to this FFF thing is a constant reminder that another week is over! FORTY weeks of it????

Okay my bemoaning is over. Congrats to you for always finding a way!

I find it so interesting reading about the world so far away from us, that I forget at times how I am also a world away. What I mean to say - my bf lives in Australia and while I marvel at your wildlife ( okay mostly Eeeeek at it, Bobtails? BLECH) she does the same with mine. She thinks squirrels are adorable, thank God because they are everywhere and thinks Moose are terrifying looking. Something I can't understand anymore than she can that I find Bobtails eerie. LOL.. By the sounds of it in your post Koala's aren't an every day sight down under?

    Hope your festivities are fantastic!

    1. It is amazing thinking of whats happening the other side of the world. All the different animals and customs.
Our area does have a lot of koalas but not a usual sight in other areas. One shop here actually had a kangaroo visit this week.
      The festivities were fabulous.

  9. Hi Lindy,

It's so wonderful to see you back on the train. You are off to a great start :) I'm afraid that's an epic fail on the sweets from me.

Big weekend in your neck of the woods with the cup and festival. Hope you are having a great weekend and enjoying the festivities.
