Most viewed post.

Amy at Eric51Amy49 asked us all to repost our most viewed post, this is mine from 16/1/2016.  Funny rereading it as a few things have changed.  Down the bottom it says we were so hot we had both split systems on to cool down.  Right now we have them both on to warm up, as this morning started out at 0c.  Who in their right mind gets up early on a Sunday morning in that temperature to go to church.   Guilty as charged!  Also where it mentions about my medication I can now say I'm off all meds, yippee!  Much healthier, if I can only stop myself having accidents. LOL!

A moth and a black out got me spanked

.I think my Bear must have made a new years resolution to see if he could find something for a daily spanking.  As that is what's happening around here, even when I'm sweet like an angel.

Yesterday he was trying to shave before going for his bike ride.  I was in his office on the computer checking my face book as I usually do whilst eating breakfast.  All of a sudden we had a black out, which I wondered if something had happened on the net.

Bear came out of the bathroom shouting "Someone's getting a spanking."  Like a little kid I tried defending myself by saying it's not my fault.
He pulled his armless music chair out and hauled me over his knee.  I was only wearing my dressing gown and was very surprised at the little protection this offered. Swat, swat, swat, he reigned down on my backside for a short time.  It was all over just as I was starting to feel the nice affects.  He returned to the bathroom and completed his shave, then went for his ride.  I asked him later if he really thought it was my fault.  He said no but he felt like spanking me anyway and it was a good excuse.

Today he was dressing after his shower.  He came out to the kitchen half dressed carrying something in his hand.

"Eeeeewwww what's that"? I asked.   It was a giant moth he found in his shorts. Bear took me by the hand into the bedroom and said to bend over the end of the bed.  He flipped  my skirt up and pulled down my knickers.
Whack.... You..... whack..... Know...... whack.... I..... whack.... Don't..... whack ....Like..... whack ...Moths..... whack..... In ....whack ....My...... whack ....Clothes.......  By this time we were both laughing.  Then he proceeded to go to town on my bottom.  After he thought it looked nice and red he went to retrieve his big belt.  This is the one I hate as even light strokes hurt like anything.  So I begged him not to use that one but he wouldn't listen.  He whacked me about four times before I stood up holding my bottom saying please Sir no more. He bent me over again giving me another two before changing to his hand again. I said I'm sorry Sir and he stopped. This led to other more enjoyable things which was a lovely start to the day.

Apart from this I've been using the bike on the trainer everyday except Wednesday when it was 38c.  We had another cruise ship in that day anyway,  so we went to look at it and around the market.  So I got my exercise walking, or that's my excuse anyway.  Stupid weather we were melting on that day with both split systems cooling the house down.  Since then it has been chilly again and Bear even put the heater on last night.  Also been sticking to my healthy eating plan.  All my medication have been cut in half too, which makes me happy.  I hate having to pop so many pills each day.  So things are starting out well in that direction.  Hopefully I'll be a new me by at least my birthday.

Have a good weekend everyone.  Thanks Amy for suggesting doing this repost.

Superbear

Is it a bird?       Is it a plane?      No its Superman or should I say Superbear!

DRIP DRIP DRIP

Over the past month Bear has taken over practically everything in the house from sweeping/washing floors, cleaning, cooking and you name it he's done it.  All in the name of LOVE!

DRIP DRIP DRIP

I don't even have to ask Bear to do anything, he just automatically does it all.  What a wonderful man he is to me and I'm one lucky person.  Recently I had a friend say to me, she has gone off all men as they always let her down. This is so sad!  I told her not to give up hope as there are still a lot of really great men out there, to stay positive. Mr Right will turn up on her door step one day.

DRIP DRIP DRIP

A few things have happened with our family during this past week, which made me feel really down.  So Superbear came to the rescue last night with a wonderful GG followed by some MFL.  It feels like its been forever since we had any loving action, well it was before my slip, so at least 5 weeks.  It was so good to have that reconnection again.

DRIP DRIP DRIP

Is that dripping starting to annoy you?  LOL!  We were in a deep slumber when I was woken by a dripping noise,  so went to investigate it.  Noises during the night always seem to be more exaggerated for some reason and I knew I wouldn't be able to get anymore sleep until the problem was fixed.

DRIP DRIP DRIP

Where was that noise coming from?  It was similar to a smoke alarm when the battery is dying with a bird chirping noise.  No it wasn't that!  So I went into the bathroom to check all the taps.  No the taps weren't dripping!  Frustrated I returned to bed with Bear asking if I was alright seeing I had been gone for a bit. Once I explained he hopped out of bed to investigate also, to no avail.

DRIP DRIP DRIP

Its driving me crazy!  Eventually I grabbed a wash cloth to stuff down the plug hole.  Phew end of problem, now we can finally have some shut eye.

WOOF WOOF WOOF!

I let slip a naughty word   which earned me a hard swat. Oops!  If its not the dripping its the f****n dogs.  GRRR!  Up I jump again to let them out to answer to natures call.  It had been raining really heavy with hail,  the back desk was covered. So instead of going to the loo, one naughty little puppy decided to eat all the hail stones.   I was standing there freezing cold. The only good part about being up in the middle of the night, the sky was so clear the stars were sparkling and I could here the waves crashing on the foreshore.

Although Superman always comes to the rescue this time it was Wonder Woman.  Yes!

We finally were able to catch some more zzzzzz.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone.  Hope you're all enjoying your weather, be it summer or winter.  I'll be glad when spring arrives.

Hugs from Superman and Wonder Woman xx

p.s. for those who have diabetes please be extra vigilant with any cuts you may have. I wish Superman and Wonder Woman could fix a problem regarding this with one of our family members.

Ella's Summertime meme

Summertime and the Meming is Easy.....

Gosh I wish it was summertime here with nice balmy days.  It must be on the way though as our bulbs are starting to bloom.  I can only dream at the moment, as its so cold and we have had so much rain.

1.  Name a tender song that can almost make you cry.

I honestly can't think of a song that would make me cry.  Although I'm a sooky la la so I cry at the drop of a hat.

2.  What is your favorite shade of lipstick?  What about nail polish?  If you do not wear lipstick or polish, what do you like or dislike about the shades you see others wear?

Well my favourite colours are pink and green.  Don't think green lipstick would look very good.  So a subtle shade of pink for me. I don't wear nail polish as it never stays on long enough.

3.  Name a children's nursery rhyme or song that you loved and to which you remember all the words.

The was an old woman who swallowed a fly.  I remember singing this song in primary school in a round robin.  Used to be so funny.

4.  What outfit would you put on in the morning if you wanted to feel happy and well dressed?  Something in which you think you look pretty damn good!

At the moment being winter here its so hard to keep warm and look pretty.  So we tend to dress in layers.  My favourite thing is a nice warm jumper, pair of slim line pants and these boots.

5.  If you had enough money to buy just one, would it be a cottage by the ocean or a cabin in the mountains?

I've always wanted to live in the country.  Bear likes to live close to the coast, so we compromised when moving.  We are in a coastal rural area. So I'd say a country cabin.

6.  If you are old enough, which one of the Beatles did you have a "thing" for?  If you are not that old, tell us a musician that really did it for you.

I always had a soft spot for Ringo Starr.

7.  Name a smell that you love - could be kitchen, outdoors, person, your choice.

I really, really love the smell of gum leaves either after the rain or thrown into a fire. Very Australian.

8.  How often do you defuzz your legs.  Wax, razor, or electric?

In summer once a week with a razor.  In winter I let it grow as I don't really have very much hair.

9.  How/why did you choose your blog name?

Down under being for Australia

Dreaming  for a better life, which is what's happened to us.

10.  What do you like to eat for breakfast?  To drink?  Coffee or tea?

At the moment being winter I love to eat rice porridge with blueberries and yoghurt.  During summer I just eat the yoghurt and berries.

I always start the day with a cup of tea.

11.  How many siblings do you have?  Or are you an only child?  Are you the oldest, a middle, or the youngest child?

Its complicated as   I technically have four siblings.  My brother died last year, so that left  3 sisters.  My eldest sister and I are the only ones who are talking to each other. Weird family! I'm the baby  of the family.

12.  What is your favorite salad dressing?

Italian salad dressing is my favourite.

13.  If you could sit next to anyone (alive) on a long plane trip, who would you pick?

As I am petrified of flying it would have to be my Bear to keep me calm.  LOL!  Big wuss!

14.  Have you ever gone shopping just to cheer yourself up?

Not really as I don't like shopping very much either for fun items or essentials.

15.  If there is one thing that can make you lose your temper, what would it be?

This is a hard one as I'm usually placid.  Maybe if someone did something to hurt a family member I would get my claws out.

16.  Tell us about the best photograph you have ever had taken.

One thing that came out of my fall is that Bear gave me his good camera.  I think so far the best photo I've taken is a recent one of him.  It also was chosen in the top list of my photo group. Sorry can't show you the photo here,  those who know me on fb have seen it.

.

17.  Have you ever gone skinny-dipping and where?

No never, but I would love to if the area was secluded.  This would be Bear and I.

18.  What do you like on your pizza?  What don't you like on your pizza?

I make my own pizza with a cauliflower base.  So I add tomato paste, feta cheese, capsicum, eggplant,  baby spinach and chorizo sausage. Delish!

Thanks Ella that was a fun meme to do.  Enjoy your week everyone.

accident update

Just an update on my recovery from the BIG slide down the embankment.  Well its already two weeks ago, boy time flies.  Even when I'm sitting here throwing the biggest pity party imaginable.
Last week Bear decided after giving me my nightly massage with horse liniment he'd put his foot down.  Therefore telling me its time to go see the doctor.  I hate going to doctors especially here as they chop and change all the time.  I never seem to find one I feel confident  with.

So the next morning Wednesday,  Bear made me ring up, I was surprised I was able to get an appointment that morning.  He came with me either to supervise or chaperone, I don't know.  Maybe to make sure I told the doctor everything. The doctor poked and prodded whilst I ouched a lot.  What a sooky la la I have turned out to be.  He concluded he thought I had cracked ribs, so ordered xrays straight away.  Luckily the hospital is opposite the clinic, so we walked over to see about the xray, to be told we had to come back in the afternoon.  This was alright, we went home for lunch, then returned where the radiologist poked and prodded also.  By the time they finished I was so sore and warn out I just wanted to head home to bed.  I asked when my doctor would have the results and was told Friday.

On Thursday we drove to meet Bears sister and bil for lunch.  On the way I received a phone call from the doctors surgery to tell me they had found something in the xrays, nothing urgent.  The down side of this was the doctor was away until Monday.  So we spent all weekend worrying about what they had found. Went to the doctor first thing this morning to be told no cracked ribs. YAY!  Always knew I was a hard nut to crack!  The xray showed spinal arthritis which I knew about anyway, so no biggy.  Just need plenty of TLC until I recover.

Bear is raring to go with such an itchy hand, I have already been on the receiving end of several hard swats.  Don't think it will be too much longer before this is happening.  MMMM!

One good thing that has come out of this incident, Bear has given me his good camera.  He told me from now on I have to use the telephoto lens and not walk in dangerous places. So now I'm hoping to take much better photos.

Have a good week everyone.
