HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Happy Halloween to all who celebrate it.  It's starting to catch on a bit more in Australia, probably not as much as my American friends.  Hope for those of you who trick or treat you receive some nice things. We don't usually have anyone call around, although we are prepared with some lollipops.

I've been made an admin of one of the photo groups I belong to.  This week was my turn to pick the prompts, so I thought I would have a bit of fun with Halloween theme photos.  The head of the group was not at all pleased with my choices telling me that no one in the group does Halloween.  Well to my delight, everyone is getting into the spirit and posting some awesome photos.  I feel like I've achieved something.  LOL!

I have a question for all my author friends in blog land.  As there are several different Amazon sites and I buy mine through amazon.com.au do you receive notification when someone does a book review?  Once I read a book, I straight away review it before I forget.  I've been finding that I'm the only one in the land down under who has either read or reviewed these books.  Wonder how many are sold down here or am I the only one who reads dirty books as my daughter calls them.

Nothing much been happening around here, plenty of GGs and MFLs, time is sure flying though.  I've joined a group called mermaids (aqua aerobics).  Its fun and keeping me fit along with bike riding.  On most days there are around 20 mermaids and one very brave merman, he laps up all the attention. Had D1 and little J visit recently for Bear's birthday.  D1 definitely knows about our life style now, as whilst she was here I was on the receiving end of constant swats.  One in particular happened when I was washing the lunch dishes.  Bear had filled the sink with straight hot water which I didn't know until I immersed my hands.  I let out an exclamation FAR OUT!  Both Bear and D1 thought I dropped the F bomb, so Bear gave me one almighty hard swat, which hurt so much,  I said FAR OUT again. D1 said there you go again dropping the F bomb you deserve a spanking.  LOL!  This is coming from Ms Potty mouth herself.

Its still rather chilly here surprisingly.  We can be in the mid teens yet where our children live they are having temperatures 30c+.   We had packed away our winter woollies only to rescue them again as the winds are so icy.

Hope everyone is keeping well and enjoying life to the max with plenty of spanky business.

How are you really?

September 14th is RUOK day in Australia, it should be world wide.  Have you ever been asked are you ok, to just say yes I'm fine?  When really you would love to talk about a problem with a friend.

Well today take some time out of your day and ask family and friends RUOK?  Lend an ear so they can get their problems off their chest.  You never know you might be able to help in some way and offer a solution.  Or just listening over a cup of tea/coffee is sometimes enough.  Its nice to  know someone cares enough to take time out of their busy day to ask RUOK. Be courageous and open up.  Don't feel embarrassed, for all you know that person may have been in a similar situation.

So ask RUOK? and when the person says YES ask again..... Are you REALLY ok?   It can take a bit of nudging to get someone to open up.

To all my friends out there in blog land RUOK?  I hope you are, but I'm here if you need to share. You can email me if you don't want to leave a comment. lindylouthomas1979@gmail.com

And yes I'm ok, couldn't be better at the moment.  Life is good!

SHHHH! Don't tell your HoH

Bear is very pleased with himself as he has discovered another tool of ass destruction and boy does it sting.  Its quite a simple thing which we use in our kitchen regularly, yet this is the first time he has used it to swat me.

On Sundays my wonderful man always makes scones for lunch.  He likes to vary it one week plain, one week date or blueberry.  This last Sunday he made pumpkin scones.  When he was mixing the ingredients together he decided to wear a pair  of food handling gloves.  Yes just your every day plain food handling gloves.  Whilst he mixed and  cooked I washed up for him.  Next thing I know there was an almighty crack and an even louder OUCH!  Oh boy being swatted with a glove really, really stings.  He has tried normal rubber gloves and woollen gloves before, never food handling gloves. Every time he passed behind me he gave me several swats just to get a reaction.   So he is pretty pleased with himself with the outcome and raring to  try it again.

Well my welcoming spring post was a bit premature, as the weather has taken a nose dive again back to wintery weather.  Our clothes drier is in the garage,  out I trotted with a basket full of wet washing, next thing plonk, I'm down the back steps on my bottom.  I honestly didn't think about the deck being slippery from all the hail we've had.

Bear wasn't very happy, so lectured me on wearing the correct shoes.  That night in bed he asked me how my bottom was feeling.  I told him my right cheek hurts, so he decided to match it by spanking my left cheek.  After that he added a few softer swats to my right cheek so it wouldn't feel left out. Funny man!  Whilst spanking he said he should keep some of the gloves beside the bed to spank me from now on as he loved the way they increased the sting.

I suppose you've all probably seen this little saying going around face book.  Its been doing the rounds for quite a while now.

Bear has only just noticed it saying he is going to have to spank me daily so our grandchildren aren't spoilt.  Well that sounds like a good plan, I'm in on that, if he remembers.

My thoughts are prayers go out to all those affected by the hurricanes in America. Stay safe!

FAVOURITE SEASON

Spring has arrived, one of my favourite seasons.  YAY!  Time for new growth with blossom on the trees, baby lambs and calves running around the paddocks.  The days are getting longer and warmer at last. Bear seems to be in a playful mood. Woohoo!

August threw a lot of challengers at our family which Bear kindly helped me cope.  He seems to have a spring in his hand lately, surprising me at every  turn with hard swats or nice relaxing spankings. Just what a girl wants. BLISS!

I've been participating in an awesome group for the past five weeks, which has taught us to look after ourselves better.  If we have a healthy mind, we'll have a healthy body. Week five we made soap which was so much fun.  It would be nice to make them as presents.

Hope you all have been  keeping well and your weather is kind to you.  Have a great weekend and be on the receiving end of some nice GGs.

Most viewed post.

Amy at Eric51Amy49 asked us all to repost our most viewed post, this is mine from 16/1/2016.  Funny rereading it as a few things have changed.  Down the bottom it says we were so hot we had both split systems on to cool down.  Right now we have them both on to warm up, as this morning started out at 0c.  Who in their right mind gets up early on a Sunday morning in that temperature to go to church.   Guilty as charged!  Also where it mentions about my medication I can now say I'm off all meds, yippee!  Much healthier, if I can only stop myself having accidents. LOL!

A moth and a black out got me spanked

.I think my Bear must have made a new years resolution to see if he could find something for a daily spanking.  As that is what's happening around here, even when I'm sweet like an angel.

Yesterday he was trying to shave before going for his bike ride.  I was in his office on the computer checking my face book as I usually do whilst eating breakfast.  All of a sudden we had a black out, which I wondered if something had happened on the net.

Bear came out of the bathroom shouting "Someone's getting a spanking."  Like a little kid I tried defending myself by saying it's not my fault.
He pulled his armless music chair out and hauled me over his knee.  I was only wearing my dressing gown and was very surprised at the little protection this offered. Swat, swat, swat, he reigned down on my backside for a short time.  It was all over just as I was starting to feel the nice affects.  He returned to the bathroom and completed his shave, then went for his ride.  I asked him later if he really thought it was my fault.  He said no but he felt like spanking me anyway and it was a good excuse.

Today he was dressing after his shower.  He came out to the kitchen half dressed carrying something in his hand.

"Eeeeewwww what's that"? I asked.   It was a giant moth he found in his shorts. Bear took me by the hand into the bedroom and said to bend over the end of the bed.  He flipped  my skirt up and pulled down my knickers.
Whack.... You..... whack..... Know...... whack.... I..... whack.... Don't..... whack ....Like..... whack ...Moths..... whack..... In ....whack ....My...... whack ....Clothes.......  By this time we were both laughing.  Then he proceeded to go to town on my bottom.  After he thought it looked nice and red he went to retrieve his big belt.  This is the one I hate as even light strokes hurt like anything.  So I begged him not to use that one but he wouldn't listen.  He whacked me about four times before I stood up holding my bottom saying please Sir no more. He bent me over again giving me another two before changing to his hand again. I said I'm sorry Sir and he stopped. This led to other more enjoyable things which was a lovely start to the day.

Apart from this I've been using the bike on the trainer everyday except Wednesday when it was 38c.  We had another cruise ship in that day anyway,  so we went to look at it and around the market.  So I got my exercise walking, or that's my excuse anyway.  Stupid weather we were melting on that day with both split systems cooling the house down.  Since then it has been chilly again and Bear even put the heater on last night.  Also been sticking to my healthy eating plan.  All my medication have been cut in half too, which makes me happy.  I hate having to pop so many pills each day.  So things are starting out well in that direction.  Hopefully I'll be a new me by at least my birthday.

Have a good weekend everyone.  Thanks Amy for suggesting doing this repost.

Superbear

Is it a bird?       Is it a plane?      No its Superman or should I say Superbear!

DRIP DRIP DRIP

Over the past month Bear has taken over practically everything in the house from sweeping/washing floors, cleaning, cooking and you name it he's done it.  All in the name of LOVE!

DRIP DRIP DRIP

I don't even have to ask Bear to do anything, he just automatically does it all.  What a wonderful man he is to me and I'm one lucky person.  Recently I had a friend say to me, she has gone off all men as they always let her down. This is so sad!  I told her not to give up hope as there are still a lot of really great men out there, to stay positive. Mr Right will turn up on her door step one day.

DRIP DRIP DRIP

A few things have happened with our family during this past week, which made me feel really down.  So Superbear came to the rescue last night with a wonderful GG followed by some MFL.  It feels like its been forever since we had any loving action, well it was before my slip, so at least 5 weeks.  It was so good to have that reconnection again.

DRIP DRIP DRIP

Is that dripping starting to annoy you?  LOL!  We were in a deep slumber when I was woken by a dripping noise,  so went to investigate it.  Noises during the night always seem to be more exaggerated for some reason and I knew I wouldn't be able to get anymore sleep until the problem was fixed.

DRIP DRIP DRIP

Where was that noise coming from?  It was similar to a smoke alarm when the battery is dying with a bird chirping noise.  No it wasn't that!  So I went into the bathroom to check all the taps.  No the taps weren't dripping!  Frustrated I returned to bed with Bear asking if I was alright seeing I had been gone for a bit. Once I explained he hopped out of bed to investigate also, to no avail.

DRIP DRIP DRIP

Its driving me crazy!  Eventually I grabbed a wash cloth to stuff down the plug hole.  Phew end of problem, now we can finally have some shut eye.

WOOF WOOF WOOF!

I let slip a naughty word   which earned me a hard swat. Oops!  If its not the dripping its the f****n dogs.  GRRR!  Up I jump again to let them out to answer to natures call.  It had been raining really heavy with hail,  the back desk was covered. So instead of going to the loo, one naughty little puppy decided to eat all the hail stones.   I was standing there freezing cold. The only good part about being up in the middle of the night, the sky was so clear the stars were sparkling and I could here the waves crashing on the foreshore.

Although Superman always comes to the rescue this time it was Wonder Woman.  Yes!

We finally were able to catch some more zzzzzz.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone.  Hope you're all enjoying your weather, be it summer or winter.  I'll be glad when spring arrives.

Hugs from Superman and Wonder Woman xx

p.s. for those who have diabetes please be extra vigilant with any cuts you may have. I wish Superman and Wonder Woman could fix a problem regarding this with one of our family members.
