finally met a blogger.

Over the past 4 years I must admit, I've been a green eyed monster being so envious, when all you bloggers managed to meet up for holidays or a day together here and there.

Well at long last my dream has come true. Today I met an actual blogger in person. Yay!  I've found my own Aussie blog friend.

Thanks to Baker who introduced us, Kanga Jo and I became good friends on face book. We decided to take the risk and meet up. Kango Jo set off on a long trek from her home town on a mission to find a suitable HoH also to meet Bear and I along the way. As you would have seen on her blog she found some funny signs on her trip, are these omens, do you think?

Today was THE day, Bear and I drove a short distance to meet our friend. Firstly we arranged to meet for lunch, which went so well. Our meals were delicious and we chatted the whole time. We exchanged gifts, Bear is now the proud owner of a wooden brush.....EEEKKKK!

Then did a bit of retail therapy, well a girls got to hit the shops, right!

Afterwards we went whale hunting down the beach.  Unfortunately no whales, but it was so invigorating with the salty sea breeze blowing in our faces.

As Baker was so kind to introduce us I took a photo of her along, which we included in plenty of our selfies.

Hope you enjoyed the day as much as us Baker.

It was soon time to say our good byes so Kanga Jo could continue on her hunt for a HoH. Good luck with that, hope you find one somewhere.  Looking forward to meeting up another time. Thanks so much for travelling all this way to meet us, we appreciate it.  The day went way too fast, as it usually does when you're having fun.

FINDING A GOOD DOM

Most of us are lucky to be in long term loving relationships with our spanky men. Therefore how would you advise someone where to look for a nice DOM.

I have a new friend,  I'm excited  as she is an Aussie. KANGA-JO  wants a DD relationship which she has had previously, unfortunately had the wrong types, so once bitten, twice shy. So I am asking for her, where is it safe to look for a DOM?

Are there any Aussie DOMs reading my blog posts who can give some advice?  Its not as if she can advertise in the paper...

Nice single lady looking for the right DOM to love and spank me.

Where does she go from here, would be great to be able to help with this situation and see her in a HAPPILY EVER AFTER  relationship.

Wonder if there is a DOM out there like one of the characters in Corbin's Bend. HAVE PADDLE WILL TRAVEL!  He could go around to keep all the ladies happy with a NICE ROSY, RED BOTTOM.

If we are lucky KANGA-JO might join us in the land. So lets all encourage her  on a new adventure to find her DOM.

forth blogiversary

Hello all you wonderful people. Its been over three months since I've visited the land for one reason or another. Then I forgot my password, OOPS!  How have you all been?

Things have changed dramatically here. Bear still leads, I still follow BUT sadly there is no spanky business. We are still happy though and getting on like before.

During the time I've been absent we have had Easter, I am a year older and it was my blogiversary. Can't really believe I've been part of this fabulous community for four years now. I am grateful for all the friendships I've made during that time. Even though I haven't popped in too much over the past year, you've all stuck by me. thank you!

This calls for a celebration with some cake of course and a nice hot cup of tea.

Or perhaps pink champagne.

Also some nice teasers for you all to enjoy.

Lets hope there's plenty more years of Downunder Dreaming to come, with  our spanky mojo back.

Cheers
Bear and Lindy xx

MR SPANKY AND HIS ITCHY PALM SYNDROME

Hello lovely friends, its been ages since I have visited the land. Thank you all for your wonderful comments both on my last post and over at Bakers.

http://oursweetapproach.blogspot.com/2019/03/update-on-lindy-lou.html?zx=e4739a8cf01485ec

Thank you my sweet friend that was so nice of you to update everyone, I really appreciate it.

I had my right wrist operation a month ago, which is slowly progressing. Apparently it will take 4 months to fully recover. In the meantime I have to go for an op on my stupid left wrist on 15th April. Argh! Didn't even have any symptoms until I had to fully rely on using it all the time. Boy did that come on fast.

During this recovery time I have been going stir crazy as I can't do anything AT ALL. Well that's not the truth. I can now shower, dry and dress myself. No housework or dinner preps, no driving so have to be chauffeured everywhere. What's a girl got to do around here!!!

We had our 40th wedding anniversary just after my right hand op and only managed this past week to go out to celebrate. My poor Mum would be having a fit to see how I have to hold my knife to cut my food. She was a stickler for doing everything properly.

Mr Spanky has  been suffering with IPS, which he takes pleasure in giving me swats but no actual full on spankings. No action makes Lindy a naughty girl. This week I have been in trouble twice and trying to go for the trifecta. LOL!

I have learnt a valuable lesson  that I must speak up for myself. Usually I'm the quiet mouse in the corner taking what ever is dished out to me. Bear has told me that has to stop as of now.

Feeling poorly lately I decided to go  for a massage to try ease my aches and pains. Oh dear what a mistake!  The girl asked me if I want a relaxation massage or deep tissue one. Thank goodness I asked for relaxation as it was TOTAL AGONY. I tried my hardest to relax and enjoy it BUT it was the worst experience I have had in ages.  I tried to take my mind away from the pain by thinking up a story or taking myself to my happy place, the beach, nothing worked.   I walked home feeling like I was going to pass out and just made it to bed. Everything was spinning and all didn't end well.  Won't fill you in on those details.  I finally felt better, sitting eating dinner I told Bear about what happened. He was furious with me, lecturing me about how I need to speak up for myself. Saying I should have told the girl half way through to stop I'd had enough. He made me stand up next to him and gave me several hard swats, which I deserved I admit.

Then we continued on with our meal. I had so much trouble sleeping that night with all the pain. Yet the girl asked me to give her a good review on her page. Pffft!

Second incident happened the following day.  I went out with a friend to celebrate her 10 years cancer free. We had planned on going to an Indian restaurant, unfortunately it was closed. I really had my taste buds ready for a yummy curry. So we ventured up to our usual restaurant, where she asked me what I wanted as it was her shout. I asked for a bacon and egg with gluten free bread toasted.   This was my mistake I should have asked for a gf toastie as it came out bacon and eggs on toast.  Oops!

On returning home Bear and I were standing in the kitchen kissing and cuddling as we do. He asked about lunch, went in for a big kiss. Then planted a double handed hard whammy on my tush which took my breath away. Once again saying I need to speak up for myself, my man knows how to keep me on my toes.

What's been happening in your next of the woods whilst I've been gone. Will be disappearing again for a while until I've recovered from my second op.  Have you read any good books lately that you can recommend. I've been binge watching Netflix to fill in time, any good shows you like on there? Need something to keep me out of mischief.

We are off next weekend to catch up with our family at the half way stop. Feels like forever since I've seen them. Hoping the weather will be kind to us as our gathering is in a park.

Even though its two weeks away have a Happy Easter everyone. Stay safe on the roads and as I say to my family be good children! Hope the Easter bunny brings you something fun.

Hope to see you all in another month all going well.

Happy Easter from Bear and Lindy xx

taking a break

I know I wrote recently about friends disappearing from the land. So thought I'd pop in to tell you I'm taking a break also.

Things are difficult here at the moment, so not much action happening. I don't want to turn this into a pity party writing about our health problems.

Anyway I'm having a smallish operation in March, hopefully after I've healed I can pop back in again to chat. In the mean time for those of you who know me on face book I'll still be doing my photos. If you want to keep  in touch either email me or catch up on FB. Although it might take me a bit to type out a reply.

Good bye for now.

PK and Sunny's challenge

Late last year I came up with an idea. I had it floating around in my head for a while, then thought yeah why not go for it. Around Christmas time I sent  both PK and Sunny  a private message on face book telling them to keep an eye out for it.

We all love a good story, we all love these two fabulous author friends of ours.  So PK and Sunny, I challenge you during 2019, to put your heads together and come up with a  book similar to the Corbin's Bend format where it will continue with other couples and stories. What better timing than just after PKs new Corbin's Bend book was published.

PK you can incorporate your friends from Cassie's world or maybe come up with another character altogether.

Sunny I really enjoyed reading your book The Look of Love with this couple. Maybe incorporate them into your joint story. HINT HINT! Or you too can also come up with a different couple.

Let your imaginations run wild ladies. Will you both accept this challenge?
Good luck!
Hugs Lindy xx
