  2. I'm on my way - plenty of gooey delicious sweets I can't eat anywhere but at a virtual party. I'm bringing cheesecake and brownies to begin with. Now don't worry about those thin flat packages over there in the corner I'm sure you'll love them. I'll be back!

    1. I would love to comment properly, but it keeps saying there is a "server" error, so I will be using other people's "reply" sections so I can join in.

I know I am very late to the party, but you may need to send me reinforcements.

I am at present in a cell dressed in a paper coverall, having undergone a strip search. Apparently they didn't appreciate the three boxes of crackers, and two boxes of party poppers I had concealed in my suitcase.

I explained I had only flown in to help a friend celebrate her big O birthday, but to no avail. I may need the party to come and rescue me.

Oh no in a cell with paper coveralls Ami, hope you get bail soon to join in the fun. Did a hunk of a policeman do the strip search?

Oh dear what's happened with google Ami and Jan. Mine wasn't playing nicely either of all days. :(

  3. Happy Birthday - I'll be there, I'm just running a bit late, I got detained at Homeland Security. They had all kinds of questions about some of the items in my luggage. I'm not sure I'll get them back to get to you or not.

I'm bringing a seven layer dip with nachos and something called Aussie Bites I picked up at Costco. Are they any good?

  7. OMG - This is truly an intercontinental party. Lindy, Happy Birthday! I am so excited to be invited to your downunder birthday bash. Have never been to Australia before, and the flight in was breathtaking! It was a very long flight, but I loved the last bit passing over the Outback and the Great Barrier Reef.

There was so much to pack. Presents and recipes and party clothes (and new shoes). First, Sam has been busy out in his shop again lately. Long ago he created “Mr. Paddle” as our first implement. It has been rigorously field tested. and Sam often asks if I would like to “talk” to him or “talk” to Mr. Paddle. And now Mr. Paddle has been busy procreating a whole slew of Sons of Paddle. So your first gift is a 100% Made in the USA paddle. If there is any truth in that old saying, “Like father, like son,” be very careful of bossiness.

Since you are such a sweet blogland lady, I have also brought you a huge box of Ghirardelli chocolate from the States. Since this is another virtual gift, eat as much as your birthday-heart desires. No calories whatsoever!

And speaking of food, I have brought fresh green chile from the Southwest to make a batch of “Sausage Biscuit” appetizers. As far as Ella is concerned, sampling some various Australian beers is at the top of the list, especially for toasting the B-day girl.

So here’s a little birthday poem just for Lindy.

    Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday,
    to an awesome Aussie girl.
Many friends have come to see you
    from all around the world.
    So make some birthday wishes
    and give a birthday whoop.
There are lots of hugs and kisses
    from this crazy blogland group!

    xxx Ella

    1. Of course you had to have new shoes Ella, whats a party without them. OOOHHHH no Sam didn't have to make me a Son of paddle, will be on the lookout for bossiness. Also Bear taking after Sam saying talk to me or talk to the paddle. EEEKKK!

Plenty of Aussie beers for you to select Ella, where would you like to start? Your chocolates and sausage biscuits sound interesting, looking forward to sampling them.
Love the poem thank you so much. Enjoy the party!

I love dancing so turn that music up a bit. I do love a party.
Btw, has Sunny got there yet? it would be her stopped at the airport. You would think she would know better, she is the one who has spent god know's how long travelling round the place, brazen hussy trying to bring who know's what in!

  20. Oh darn that Google, I only meant to be away for a minute. Lindy, I was only joking about the large parcel, there are two things in it. The flogger is a lovely soft suede, to be used as in that 50 shades scene... gosh, is it hot in here or is it just me? (Fanning self). The second thing is something I saw on the Internet - a spanking skirt! It's a tight, stretchy skirt with a cut out at the back where the bum goes. It must be for fun because the thighs are covered up. I'm starving now, has Bear got the barbie going? Oh, just saw Jan, must have a chat with her.

    1. Hi Rosie, what a present. I think maybe you better lend that skirt to DF, she's wandering around naked! Fancy dress my eye, lol. She's just showing off. Let's head over to the barbie and soak up some of this fizzy stuff and have a natter

      Delete
    2. Mmm, fizzy stuff, cheers! Here's to Lindy. That's a pretty dress you're wearing Jan, is it one of your new ones? Why is DF running around naked, is she drunk? This barbie is good, think I'll try some cake next as it's all calorie free.

  25. Happy Happy Birthday Lindy!!!! I FINALLY made it! Sorry to be so tardy! I told Rob that I was just going to hop a plane, and that I would be back in short order to close on this new house of ours. Of course he mumbled something about a cheeseboard if I don't make it back in time. Then he gave me a little reminder spanking and some MFL to keep me inline on the long long flight! Now here I am!!! Hurraaaaaaay!!!!!

Looks like some mighty good food and drink around. I did bring along some birthday presents for you. I put them on the table near Ronnie's gifts. Can you guess what they might be???? Three different kinds of spatulas just for you! I thought that you would enjoy those...!!! LOL! I also brought you a nice mug that has that saying on it that says "Friends are like stars... etc. Oh and on my way here from the airport, I picked up a couple of bottles of wine, as well as a Pimms. Ami is here so she can go ahead and make us all one of her specialties. Right Ami???? Ami????? Ami?????? Oops... Is Ami in need of a rescue? She makes an awfully good Pimms Cup. Maybe she got to making them and that is why she is detained? Well, let's start with Minelle and her martinis. Though that may get us all into a bit of trouble....

Lindy, what do you think of your party so far? Oh sheesh! I think that I just saw DF run by without her clothes! What is going on around here? LOLOL!!!!

Oh thank you for handing me the glass of champagne, Abby! CHEERS to you, Lindy!!! Wishing you the happiest of birthdays!

Oh sheesh, Rob just texted me "Young Lady" he must be making a list. I better go in search of food. I'm going to try Hermione's butter tarts, a whoopie pie, Jan's cupcakes, some tapas and well... a little of everything maybe. Party on good friends, party on! LOL! The police pulled me over for a breath test and a strip search thinking I was a crazy old woman. Pffft! Finally made it back without a suitable outfit, so I'm wearing my birthday suit. Sorry about all the wrinkles, I told Bear I need to do something about them. His gave me a hard swat saying I'm not allowed to talk negatively about myself.

  35. Anyway looks like you've all been having a ball here without me. Skinny dipping......oh can I join in, although isn't it a bit chilly. Hope you saved me plenty of yummy snacks and bubbly of course. MMMM wonder whats in all the presnts, time to open them I think. I'm sure Bear will put them all to good use, not sure I'll be sitting comfortably for a while. A spanking skirt.... sounds interesting and something sensual. Not surprised you all had trouble getting through customs and ending in jail. Abby can you teach me to table top dance, I'm up for a challenge anytime. Love trying new things.

  37. I agree with Jan I think you all need a spanking, so whose going first? Choose you weapon of arse destruction form a line up. Maybe go in alphabetical order... Abby your first, followed by Ami, DF, Ella, with her Sons of paddle, Hermione, Jan, Katie, Lilli, Meredith, Minelle, PK< Ronnie, Roz, Rosie, Sunny and Terps. Haha forgot to add myself. Maybe its catch me if you can! Thank you all so much for flying in to spend my birthday with its been so much fun. Have safe flights back home. Wouldn't it be great to do intercontinental parties all the time or maybe real life ones (if only)?
Catch up with you all soon. I'm feeling really loved by you all.
    Hugs Lindy
