HELLO

Thought I better check in to let you know I'm still in the land of the living.  The winter BLUES have struck our house, its way too cold to do anything and my Bear is feeling depressed.

I had thought things weren't right for a while as he seemed to have lost interest in both spanking and making love.  He finally admitted to me he was feeling down.  Why do our HoHs expect us to talk about our problems, yet when it comes to them they keep it locked away inside? Although he has been retired for nearly two years now, he appears to be missing work and most importantly his work mates.  I know how he feels as it took me a good while to get over not working anymore and I still miss my workmates terribly.

So even though I've tried my hardest to interest him in a bit of action, there is naught happening. Hopefully when the weather starts to warm up a bit in spring he will be alright and ready for action. Until then I will keep visiting everyone's blogs to keep in touch with you all.

Hope you're all doing better with your summer time fun.

One year blogiversary

Today, 16th July,  is  one year since I wrote  my first post and started blogging. Firstly I wrote a story for PK which was posted on 12th June, then she encouraged me to blog.  I was a bit hesitant to begin with as thought there is no way anyone would be interested in my life.

So I very carefully took the plunge and voila here I am 12 months later.  I've made so many wonderful friends through blogging, some of us email each other which is great.  Wish I lived closer to actually meet you all in person, maybe one day.  (I can only dream.)

There have been lots of ups and downs but that's life. Bear and I are closer as a result of TTWD, we have both stated that  we love each other more now.

So thank you all for being by my side and encouraging me when times became tough. Laughing with me in good times. Looking forward to many more years of friendship with you all.

So thank you PK for giving me the push I needed to start DOWNUNDER DREAMING, its been an awesome year.

Have a fantastic weekend everyone and stay safe.

Our implements

PK had a post about all her implements and challenged us to add photos of ours.  I'm always up for a challenge so will take you up on that PK.  We don't have many as Bear seems to favour his hand more times than not.  Goodness knows why as he always says it hurts his hand and stops way too soon.  My favourite spanking is OTK with his hand when he plays the drums on my behind to a tune he hums,  always ends in us both in a fit of laughter.

Apart from this we have our bedroom spanking implements which are either used for fun or more serious spankings.  These are few and far between though as Bear thinks I'm good.  Haha!  My favourite out of these is the belt down the bottom.  My least favourite is what Bear calls the cricket bat which he made me write on.  He uses it like he's hitting a cricket ball and making runs. Can be fun if not too hard, which he tends to do more times than not.  He is either a soft spanker or full strength, nothing in between.

Then there's our kitchen implements which are on hand for a quick spanking if necessary over the  kitchen bench.  We did have some Teflon spatulas which unfortunately found their way into the rubbish recently.  No my doing, Bear through them away after one melted when he was doing a bbq.  I'm hoping the metal one follows them shortly also as that packs a nasty punch.

We did try to buy some implements online from overseas sites but the postage was way too much so Bear refused to buy them.  Unfortunately we haven't found anywhere within Australia so far to buy any.

Have a good week everyone

Time flies

Why does time go so fast when our daughter and grandson are visiting.  Only felt like they arrived, then packing up to head home again. We had a fabulous time although we didn't go anywhere. Our daughter is always exhausted, so catches up on sleep whilst we entertain little J. Not that he needs much entertaining as once he has his I pad that's it for the day.

As we couldn't get down for their birthdays, we celebrated with cakes on  arrival. Bear made both cakes, D1s from scratch which was so delicious and J's a packet mix.  J tried one crumb of his  cake declaring its not like mummy makes, so major fail with that one. Also I annoyed him taking photos all the time.  J was alright at first then it was "No more paparazzi Nanny."

We waved them off on their long journey home, cleaned the house and then NOTHING, ZILCH, NADA. Disappointment here BIG TIME!  I've been trying to poke the Bear to get some action happening, to no avail.  I've dropped hints for a spanking, then come right out saying I need a spanking.  Bear replies saying I'm a good girl though or he'll take me by surprise some time.  Almost feel like really playing up to get some attention.  Going out of my mind!  Strange isn't it,  I did everything possible to avoid a spanking when I was little, now I can't get enough. Yet my Bear won't play with me.  Boohoo!
