Twitchy palm

Bears palm is becoming very twitchy.  He sent me this photo on face book yesterday, which I replied that someone must be watching him. He's becoming very cheeky.

Anyway I was buzzing around the kitchen organising something for lunch when he pulled me in saying "What's a person have to do for a cuddle around here."  We stood having a wonderful cuddle then his hands wandered to my bottom and started playing one of his favourite things  A drumming tune with spanks getting harder.  I was ouching and squirming before too long, then we both had a fit of the giggles.  Wish it could have led to something else but think that will have to wait.

Gosh I didn't realise before how much Bear spoils me.  I've had to take on a few extra chores over the past few days, one being shopping,  eeek!

OMG  the last time I did the grocery  shopping was when our children lived at home before I started working again.  When have groceries become so expensive?  For two people it was outrageous, so I came home and checked on the calculator to make sure it was correct.  I nearly fainted when the $$$$ came up on the screen.  I thought Bear would have a pink fit, yet I stuck to the shopping list. He said it was a bit more than usual, not excessively high though. So I was a bit nervous that one of these would be in my near future.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and the upcoming week everyone.

  1. Hi Lindy, sounds like Bear is becoming spank happy lol. I hope he is recovering well.

Lucky you being spoilt, especially not having to do the grocery shop. Can't believe what it costs nowdays.

  2. Groceries... it is the one of the few areas of my budget I have some ability to trim, and it is so difficult!

    1. You'll have to tell me your secret to trimming the grocery bill, Lea. Apart from not eating. LOL!

  3. I do agree with that top picture - I find it down right insulting if he doesn't even try. I avoid the sticker shock at the grocery story by going every few days and only buying a few things. I don't really mean to do it, but it always seems to happen

    1. I'd prefer to do smaller shops also PK, rather than one big shop. Bear has other ideas though. Guess I'm stuck with the shopping until he has fully recovered. EEEKKK!

  4. sigh i miss woolies. but yes, groceries always surprise me. when i've got a ton of stuff in my cart i think it's going to cost a bomb, but it doesn't. and sometimes i'm carrying only a few items by hand but it comes up to a crazy amount! that's a surprise i don't appreciate.

    1. I know how does that make sense a few items cost heaps, yet a trolley full is cheaper. Weird!

  9. Hi Lindy, one of my pet hates...grocery shopping. The cost of everything keeps going up but the growers, suppliers and manufacturers are getting less and less. Fortunately we have the oldest and arguably the best farmers market only 10 minutes drive away.
Sounds like Bear has recovered from his op....status report?

  10. Definitely agree with the first picture quote. I love it when Sam swats me in the kitchen. He also does the grocery shopping. How did we get so lucky?

Every time I go grocery shopping I lament that salaries stay the same but groceries get more expensive!

  12. Enjoys those moments of spontaneous spanking! Every time I go grocery shopping I feel completely depleted - it is so expensive - and yet we do need to eat so it is what it is... Hugs

  13. Hi Lindy, :) Sounds like there is some good healing going on around your place- and twitchy palms are great! LOL!

The groceries- not my fav thing to do. I used to have huge, overflowing carts when the 4 kids were in teen years. Not so much any more. Happily, Rob took to grocery shopping for the most part. We are lucky, aren't we! It is a chore that I gladly handed over. You are right too- prices can be out of this world, for sure! Many hugs,

    1. We are very lucky with our men doing shopping and other chores Katie. I remember when our three were younger our trolleys were overflowing. My goodness teenagers eat a lot.
Bear is healing well and there's lots of fun happening in our house.

  14. It's amazing how quickly it can go from "You want me to do what?" to spank happy. Harry is in charge of grocery shopping here too - lucky us on both counts!
