FFF 14

Gosh I almost missed my check in this week as the time has gone in the blink of an eye.  I've had a reasonably good week. Managed to do aqua aerobics one day, as the other day my rotator cuff and bicep were killing me.  Also did one session of Tia Chi which I really, really love as its so relaxing. Had the best nights sleep after it.

Monday we went exploring our beautiful country side so mainly driving. I did fit in a bit of walking looking around cute little country villages.

I've stuck to a fairly good eating plan except my Bear made me banana bread which was scrumptious.  He didn't quite cook it long enough, when I had a hot piece straight out of the oven, it was so delicious tasting like a banana milkshake.  That was my down fall for the week. Yet the scales have stayed the same, not gone up or gone down which surprised me.

Didn't manage any decluttering.  One thing which made me happy I've had to go buy new clothes as my pants are falling off me.   So even though the weight hasn't come off I'm changing shape. Yay!

Re-joining a photo challenge group on FB again, so this should give me inspiration to get out and about more. Especially as the weather is turning nasty now with heaps of rain around our area.

Hope you've all had a successful week with your FFF.

Have a good weekend.

  1. Hi Lindy,

Sounds like a great week. Good on you! Stable scales is good, though they don't tell the full story. Hooray for having to buy new clothes :)

Ooh, the banana bread sounds yum!

  2. Hello, Lindy! One positive thing about maintaining the same weight is that you could be losing fat, but gaining muscle. And muscle weighs more than fat. That would explain why your body is changing shape. So, great job!

  6. Way to go Lindy. Who cares what the scales say when the clothes are fitting fine. :) Enjoy your photography hobby. Love that you have that but no tumbling down the hill again!

    1. Funny you should say that Amy as we went to that exact place Monday. Bear told me he is putting me on a lead so I wasn't allowed to go very far at all to find my photo I so desperately wanted. He said definitely don't go near the river. I took note and stayed safe.

  7. I love it when pants seem to be falling off. It feels so good. Especially if the weight isn't moving - it means you're losing fat and gaining muscle. hurray!

    1. That would be awesome if the fat is shifting instead. I really like that idea, thanks Fondles.

  10. I am so excited for you needing new clothes. You know muscle weighs more than fat and that the scale isn't always accurate. I made my husband some GF banana bread and it surprisingly tasted really good. I am still learning how to bake gluten free. And we need to talk more about that, I haven't forgotten.
    Take care!

Tai chi sounds really fun. Lots of people swear by it.

SO happy to hear that you are doing the photo challenge again! That's a smart idea about it being a winter activity to get you out and about. Always love your photos!
