Trouble with posts?

Is anyone having trouble typing in their blog posts or when you go to answer someone else's post it won't publish? For some reason I can type for a bit then it goes blank.  Also press publish on other posts to add my bit and it just sits there.  So frustrating!

Can anyone help please?

    I'm having trouble posting comments. Where I used to write one and hit publish it did so instantaneously. Now I timed it and it take right at 15 seconds for each one. I don't like this.

    Hi Lindy, I am having the same trouble in commenting. It just seems to take longer. I am thinking no one wants to hear what I rabbit on about, lol!

    I've just had that problem of a comment sitting there waiting to publish over at Terps but not when I commented on Herms. Not sure what the problem is.

    Same just happened to my last comment to you. Also I commented early on your blog and it didn't publish. Same happens on a few other blogs.

    Same is happenig with me as well. It takes longer to post after pressing the 'publish' tab for comments

    Ditto. I have to wait for the comment to publish and occasionally have to sign in a 2nd time. I think it is a Google/Blogger problem. We are not having any wait time with other computer tasks.

    Does anyone know how to contact Blogger?

    Hi Lindy,
    Google and Chrome are almost completely useless for me. I have even uninstalled and reinstalled the blessed thing a number of times to no effect. There was an "upgrade" in August last year that appears to have almost completely broken Chrome and with it Google and Blogger. I now use (shudder) Microsoft Edge to surf the net and access Blogger.
    Google have published these issues as a known problem and has advised that they will address them in the next release. Until then all we can do is persist with it!

    Thank you all for your comments. Hopefully the problem will be rectified before too long. In the mean time I'll keep trying to post.

    I use Firefox exclusively for blogging, and have never had any trouble leaving comments, but writing posts and publishing them if often very slow. As Don says, we just have to wait for another release.

    Yup, it does take longer for a comment to publish on this blog. You are using one of the older templates. but then so am I.

    it could be that you use embedded comments. You could try switching to Popup or Full Page. Go to Settings, Posts comments and sharing, then at Comments, Comments location change the option. Then click Save Settings. FIgners crossed that it works!
